CURRICULUM

Our Curriculum
Infants and Toddler Program
(0-3 Years)
Our Infants and Toddlers program at Little Land is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and is built on nurturing, respectful, and responsive relationships. We recognise that the early years are a critical time for building trust, security, and a strong sense of self.

Our educators take a calm and attentive approach, responding to each child’s individual routines, cues, and rhythms. Through play-based learning, meaningful interactions, and everyday care moments, children are supported to explore their environment, develop early communication skills, and build independence at their own pace. This gentle, responsive approach creates strong foundations for lifelong learning and a confident transition into our preschool program.
Preschool and School Readiness Program
(3–5 Years)
Our Preschool & School Readiness program at Little Land is designed to prepare children for a confident transition to school while fostering a lifelong love of learning. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), our program offers a rich variety of play-based and intentional learning experiences that build children’s curiosity, creativity, and independence.

Children engage in meaningful projects and activities that develop skills across multiple areas, including language and literacy, numeracy, STEM, creative arts, and physical wellbeing. Our educators support each child’s individual strengths and interests, encouraging problem-solving, collaboration, and self-confidence. Through this holistic approach, children build the foundations they need to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically as they move into school.
